Each of the other Councilmen are to <br /> ' appoint a representative to this committee. <br /> 1 <br /> president Gipson stated at the recent Council retreat, it was <br /> recommended that the names and home phone numbers of each <br /> councilmember be listed it the telephone directory. The cosh of <br /> this service annually would be 8105. <br /> . Eoved by Councilman Morrow, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> approve the expenditure of 0105 Prom the Council's operating budget, <br /> for adding the names and home phone numbers to the City's listing in <br /> the telephone director, <br /> poll 3ms called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> President Gipson stated the Sister city Program is being reinstated <br /> and a Councilmember has been requested to be on the the committee. <br /> He asked the councilmembers to advise him if they are interested in <br /> serVing on this committee. <br /> President Gipson read a letter which was written by Al Theal,Public <br /> Works Director,to Paper Fibers stating that Ehe city has received <br /> numerous coMplaints about the unsightlY condition cf the newsPaPer <br /> - collection boxes. Everett Municipal code has limitations for the <br /> private commercial use of public rights-of-way and newspaper <br /> collection boxes are not a permitted use. The letter also requested 1 <br /> that all of their collection boxes be removed or relocated by April 9. <br /> 30,1986. <br /> President Gipson announced a news release has been prepared to begin ' <br /> the process for the human needs allocations for 1906. <br /> President Gipson also announced that Councilman Overstreet would be <br /> absent on April 9 as he will be attsnding a water quality meeting on <br /> behalf of the city. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> Helores Grabner spoke about the recent insurance legislatiOn. <br /> 21%Wi9: Spoke about the reception held at Maltby Barge for the <br /> „ . <br /> 11 n'phborhood. <br /> .,„ <br /> ''• <br />
