st 159 April 23,1986 t 6,41, Councilman Longue stated he will be requesting that the Dangerous Dog Ordinance No.1128-86 be brought back for further Consideration, 4,1f the issue of including pit bull terriers being classified as dangerous dogs. Another attack in Oregon was reported last week. He will be requesting an amendment to thie ordinance for first t reading at the Council Meeting on April 30,1986. President GipSon reviewed the transit conference he attended last 4 week. He stated the City Transit department and system conmand a great deal of respect throUghout the country. The concept now is lease vs.own for transit equipment. IraTTORNEYS COMMENTS Jim Iles, Assistant City AS announced there would be an executive session following the workshoP on todaY'a aganda to discuss a personnel matter. CITIZENS COMMENTS Utt Mark Houser,Everett commented on his views on the number of slips in the Navy Homeporting contingent. Virgil Morgan', 3225 Cedar, reviewed his dissatisfaction and frustration in working with the Everett Police Department and the Mayor's office on a recent burglary at his business. Gail Chism,1425 Madison,reviewed the success of the Spring Rally , Clean-up in Lowell. She announced the Council for a Greater Everett was giSing each of the neighborhood organizations$100. She stated that the Lowell Neighborhood meeting will be held on April 28. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS STREET CLOSURE To authorize the closure oE Oakes from Wormanna Lodge 43 to parking lot across the street from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,May 17,1506 to celebrate Norwegian Independence Day. AGREEMENT TO authorise the Mayor to MASONS agreement for the use of FANS funds on the Riverside Signal System. The project will install new signal controllers and signal interconnect at Pacific/Cedar, Cedar/Hewitt, Cedar/EVerett, and Hewitt/Maple Everett/Maple, Paeific/Maple California/Walnut. I
