Upon roll cell it was found <br /> that and all were 1n attendance except <br /> Councilman Overstreet who arrived at 9:20 a.m. <br /> Minutes of the meeting held October-If, 1986 were approved as <br />• printed. <br /> COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER <br /> Councilman <br /> ensue reduced Ward <br /> Hinds, the Snohomish <br /> Health b trick Officer who briefly reviewed some of the operations <br /> of the district. <br />• COUNTY COUNCIL <br /> Councilman Agnew of the Snohomishmy nal spoke of the <br /> increase• in dues! COG and reminded u the council that they had <br /> been aero,the Transit Rail System for several years. They are <br /> Planning n o implement the rail system bythe y 2020. He <br /> lc <br /> urged a council o support P G in their re guest foradditional <br /> f• unds. • <br />• <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Moore issued the following proclamations: <br /> October 24,1986 as"United Nationsoma Month. <br /> The month of November as Read at E ' <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Stephenson reported the budget committee had met this <br /> morning and the 1981 budget was still 6400,000 out o[balance. They <br /> would be continuing the meeting after this morning's agenda. <br /> He said also, that thehad heir funding of the <br />• Association for Retarded Childrcu <br /> en andCarol Conversefrom <br /> the <br /> association had requested funds from the city to carry them over for <br /> the remainder of the year. <br /> Moved by Councilman Stephenson,seconded by Councilman Pope that <br /> the <br /> council allocate 02000 from Council Contingency Funds to the ARC to <br /> fund them to the d of 1986. <br /> rl, _ Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Siva c mmented that a lot of the Everett citizens fel! <br />�•••. that the economy of the city was linked!o the closed storyefronts <br /> M <br /> ts <br /> downtown and the Navy meparting.
