In addition, galvanized street <br /> poles have theadvantage of lower maintenance costs and they are <br /> aster to replace If damaged. <br /> �� BID AWARD <br /> 1111 Moved by Councilman NSva, seconded by Councilman Lenges that the <br /> contract for 112th Street SE Widening be awarded to the law bidder, <br /> Leifer Construction of Marysville, Washington based upon their <br /> proposal including Alternative"8",galvanized street traffic signal <br /> poles, and unit bid of unit prices extended for the estimated total <br /> of$1,787,435.24 as received at the bid opening held at 2:00 p.m., <br /> March 20,1987. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Pape who was excused. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> BIDS RECEIVED <br /> A cell for bids was authorized on February 18, 1907 for the 4th <br /> Avenue West Improvement Project,LID 717,with a public bid opening <br /> held on March 17,1987 with the following bids submitted: <br /> Hill Top Construction $ 854,455.77 <br /> West Coast Construction 869,826.25 <br /> Tri-State Construction 868,935.65 <br /> Leifer Construction 904,773.50 <br /> I <br /> ` <br /> w0 <br />
