230 May 27,1967 <br /> Lynn McCauley.6931 East Cady Pd,stated she is a volunteer at Stop <br /> N Abuse and she Peels the sheltererious need in the <br /> community and she encourages the City's continued support. <br /> Dorothy Lewis,3100 116th Place SE,stated she Pelt that some of the <br /> Information In favor of Stop Abuse had been left out of the staff <br /> report. she asked that Council continue their financial support of <br /> the shelter. <br /> 1 im Kallstrom, 2720 Colby, Presidentof Stop Abuse Board of <br /> Directors, stated that she had not received the conditions for <br /> review until last Friday and condition no. 6 had just De added <br /> today and the board has of had an opportunity to discuss or review <br /> the feasibility of the implementation of these conditionson the <br /> operation of Stop Abuse. <br /> !IN Councilman Stephenson stated he Pelt that the board should be <br /> exploring the process for having open meetings. That if necessary <br /> items that require confidentially cabe done In executive session. <br /> Sam Granata, Department ofSocial and Health Services, stated that <br /> DSHS would be funding Stop Abuse for 1967 and they have not imposed <br /> p <br /> receive <br /> regarding open meetings on any private agencies who <br /> eive funding from the State. <br /> William Lewis,3100 118th Place SE,representing"Me Can"a group f <br /> citizen volunteers dealing with abuse.
