AYES: Langus,NSva,Stephenson,Morrow,Pepe,Overstreett� NAYS: None ( EXCUSED: Gipson I Ordinance No.1357-87 adopted. l RESOLUTION Moved by Councilman Pope, seconded by Councilman Langus to adopt Resolution No.2870 on the funding of the 1987 Community Development Block Grant funding with Providence Sexual Assault Centex as follows: WHEREAS,, the City has funded for several years through ik Community Development Block Grant (CCM) funds for he Providence Sexual Assault Center;and f'. WHEREAS,the Providence Sexual Assault Centex has applied for ,J, 1987 funding in the amount of$13,524;and I 1 II WHEREAS, the Work of this agency is vital to the City of T ,r Everett; 1,I NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: 54 That the Providence Sexual Assault Center be awarded the 1987 C G funds $13,5 of$13,524. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Providence Hospital and Board IP',,a of Trustees continue to engage in conversation with the agency of Stop Abuse as to the feasibility of their merger.'
