As the City does not have a qualified <br /> structural engineer to review the structural plans and <br /> specifications, staff recommends that an agreement with Tudor <br /> Engineers of Seattle be entered into for the structural review of <br /> the project. <br /> As the cost of services is less that $25,000, advertising and <br /> shortlisting for consultants was not necessary. The selection of <br /> the consultant has been approved by the Washington State Department <br /> of Transportation and all funds are WU reimbursable from the Navy <br /> Access Corridor Grant. I <br /> moved by Councilmember Langus, seconded by Counciloember Pope to <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with-ruder Engineers of <br /> Seattle for structural review of the dist Street Bridge ., <br /> reconstruction at a cast of <br /> Roil was <br /> becagedonwie.allxccolcilmembers voting yes except <br /> Motion carried. <br />
