This additional tam would be limited to use by a <br /> non-profit corporation devoted exclusively to the purpose of <br /> promotion of tourism and conventions. This measure has been <br /> endorsed by the Snohomish County Lodging Association whose <br /> membership includes most of the hotel and motels in the city of <br /> : <br /> Everett. Currently the Lodging Association, Everett Chamber of <br /> Commerce and others involved in tourism and convention promotion are <br /> Working to establish a Snohomish County Visitor's and Convention I, <br /> Bureau which would be eligible for this funding. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Overstreet, seconded by Councilmember tangle <br /> to add the adoption of a local option additional hotel/motel tax for <br /> Use by a non-profit corporation devoted exclusively to the purpose <br /> of promotion of tourism and conventions to the City of Everett's <br /> IS.Legislative Priorities. <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmembers voting <br /> Notion carried. <br />
