The audit also assessed the ds of the <br /> Department in regards to personnel and additional funding. <br /> Mx. Roberts stated a clearer mission statement for the Planning <br /> Department is to serve the citizens of the City of Everett.through <br /> the maintenance end enhancement of the quality of life, the quality <br /> of the environment,to improve and enhance the city's tax base, en <br /> and provide for the orderly accommodation of growth development. <br /> An additional appropriation of $169,498 is necessary for 1989 In <br />• order to effectively provide the necessary services demanded by the <br /> • citizens in the planning area. se <br /> Moved by Ccuncilmember Pope, seconded by Councilmember Diamond to <br /> authorize the preparation of a budget amendment to include an <br /> appropriation from 1989 cash forward to the Planning Department in <br /> the amount of$169,498. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. <br />• <br /> Motion carried. <br />• <br /> " J00 COMPLETE <br /> ' Moved by Councilmember Morrow, seconded by Councllmenber Gipson to <br /> accept as complete the Langur Riverfront Park electrical-phase I <br /> by Signal Electric,Inc and begin the 30 day retention period. <br />• <br />• <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br />• <br /> • <br /> ' <br />
