Of the 36 <br /> Property owners who responded to a survey regarding a sewer LID, 30 <br />' favored and 6 were opposed. He Said, according to Snohomish Health <br /> District records, 46% of the septic systems in the area are <br /> failing. He stated through supplementary agreements, the 1I0 weold ft) <br /> also offer interested property owners the opportunity to include the <br /> oat Of their individual sewer service connections in their final <br />) LID assessments. <br /> Mr.Jones stated this will be the first opportonitY to imPlement the <br /> new financing plan for sewer LIDS. The new plan was established <br /> under Ordinance No. 1561-119. This ordinance allows the City's <br /> Utility Division tO advance the participants of sewer LIDs $4:000 4 <br /> Per each legal building lot toward the cost of the sewer <br /> Improvements. The advance would not be cash rebate, rather, it <br /> would be a deduction from their LID assessments that would be paid <br /> back over a 25-year period,at no interest,as an extra item on the <br /> I. property owners'bimonthly sewer bills. <br />
