She said she was comfortable with these resolutions <br /> long as they were only planning documents and that service <br /> agreemts would be in place before providing the water to assure <br /> that the city would have enough water to provide sufficient water <br /> for their own citizens. <br /> 4, i , Clair°livers of the Utility Department, Said before any water wes <br /> 'i,i'f '' delivered the city would be work:, with the entities and en <br /> agreement would be in place. <br /> '4 f A letter from the PUD was presented to the council objecting to the <br /> 1 1 ; action proposed by the City of Marysville to build a 30 inch water <br /> ;4 i 41,1'' line to connect with the <br /> delivery City of Everett's water system to take <br /> of Sultan Basin water. A resolution was also presented <br /> which stated that the District would be a wholesale water <br /> distributor in north and east Snohomish County In areas that the <br /> IM City of Everett chooses not to serve directly. <br /> Councilmember Morrow objected to taking any action on a proposed <br /> resolution by the city on the agenda to supply water to the PUD, <br /> when these documents had been provided by the District at the last <br /> minute giving the council no time to review them. <br /> Charles Earl,District Manager,said he thought the city should make <br /> it clear to the City of Mar,sville what the resolution adopted by <br /> the city meant as they interpreted they were going to be the main <br /> provider in the north and east part of the county or they would not <br /> have planned for the 30 inch sized pipeline. <br /> Mayor Moore asked if the commission would add another paragraph to <br /> the resolution that would state the District would not usurp county <br /> or triplanners or restrict county or triplanners planning to suPPlY <br /> both water and sewer where they desire and Mr.Earl said he thought <br /> ' they would do that. <br /> / . <br /> : <br /> ,.. <br />
