He ,. <br /> said that the short plat project was <br /> not complying with the wetland <br /> wa <br /> preservation requirements and sinfringing on the pedestrian <br /> easement for the school children. <br /> Mr. Lux stated a stop work order has been issued as of Monday, <br /> 1/22/90,while the City reviews the requirements. Mx.Lux expressed <br /> strong concerns n <br /> regarding the threatening phone calls o of the <br /> citizens has received because of a phone cell made tothe City <br /> requesting they investigate any <br /> non c <br /> ompliance with the <br /> requirements. The nameof the person making the request was given <br /> to the developer by a City employee. Mr. Lux felt this is av ery <br /> poor practice to disclose the name of someone making an inquiry. <br /> Bruce Jones,City Attorney,stated there axe certain requirements as <br /> to public disclosure laws but that a formal request..in writing <br /> should be submitted. j.. <br /> Bob Landies,Planning Staff, said that names ould only be released <br /> when a formal complaint had been received and the request had been <br /> made in writing to the proper department. <br /> Ccuncilmember Morrow <br /> asked that a report be given next week to <br /> update <br /> update the progresson this matter. Ii <br /> Councilmember Diamond cm ented on the harassing phone calls that <br /> two Councilmembers havebeen receiving since since the Merrill Creek <br /> decision on Saturday.
