February 7,1990 45 BID REPORT 1'1 Four bids were received on January 11,1990 for two paratransit vans as follows: Emmett Goelsch Coaches Floor Plan wAA $39,839.20/van Emmett K0e19ch Coaches Floor Plan w13/Cr 40,700.00/van Western Bus Sales 45,784.62/van Transport Equipment 49,088.21/van Emmett Goelsch Coaches submitted two bids with different floor plans. It has been determined that the floor plan B/C provides the most roam for ingress and egress of passengers when all three wheelchairs are in position. Staff recommends that the bid be awarded to Emmett Goelsch Coaches Floor Plan B/C. BID AWARD Moved by Councilmember Overstreet, seconded by Councilmember Moser to award the bid for two paratransit vans to Emmett Goelsch Coaches for floor plan es/C"at a cost of$81,400. Roll was celled with all councilmembers voting yea. Motion carried. TREASURER'S NOTICE OF PREPAYS ON LID 7265 Once a final assessment roll is confirmed,property owners are given notice that they have 30 days to pay all or any part of their assessments without interest charges. Also, they are given the opportunity to take advantage of a discount during this 30 day collection period. This 30 day collection period is known as the prepay period. The prepay period for LID 7265, 60th Street 5W Supplemental, ended on January 22, 1990. Collections during the period totalled $55,420.38. With discounts of $1,662.62, outstanding assessments were reduced to $407,052.00. The remaining assessments will be billed,with interest,over 20 years. Moved Sr Ccuncilmember Diamond, seconded by Councilmember Gipson to accept the 30 day collection notice for LID 7265, 60th Street SW Supplemental. Roll was called with all councilmembera vmting Yes. Motion carried.
