Motion carried. RESOLUTION . Councilman Anderson introduced Curtis Smelser,Executive Director of Puget Sound Council of Governments to explain the pros and cons of ithdrawing from PSCOG. Moved by Councilman Anderson, seconded by Councilmen Moser to adopt resolution relating to the withdrawal of the City of Everett from the Puget Sound Council of Governments effective December 31,1990. Roll was called with all councilmen voting no Motion defeated. BUDGET AMENDMENT Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilmen Pope to delay the discussion of a budget amendment request for $50,000 for the rental of office space for$26,000 from August 1 through December 31, 1990 in the Central Business District and provide for moving, furnishings, equipment, and remodeling expenses for $15,000, end also provide $15,000 for staffing, remanding it to the Budget ittee for further clarification and discussion to be resumed on or before July 18th in Council. Councilmembers had a lengthy discussion as to whether this issue . hould be discussed presently or later. Councilman Gipson asked councilmembers what their concerns were. Mayor cinch indicated that Administration was ready to discuss this matter now. Councilman Morrow was in favor of a workshop with Administration. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Morrow,seconded by Councilman Gipson to have a workshop to be held within the net three weeks on the subject of City Hall and the housing of City employees,with Administration and eouncilmembers participating. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried.
