360 September 19,1990 <br /> ' WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the logo which is <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit"A"and incorporated herein by reference <br /> is more symbolic of Everett today: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />�., CITY OF EVERETT that the logo set forth in Exhibit A is hereby <br /> declared to bethe official loge of the City of Everett replacing <br /> the"Everett a"and is to bp used both by itself and in conjunction <br />{ with the police shield and fire symbol as the official logo of the <br /> k City of Everett. <br /> Roll w celled with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Overstreet who voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BSO REPORT <br /> The contractor for Fire Station No. 2,, 36th and Rucker, Phase I, <br /> Site Preparation Results is to be selected from the Small Works <br /> Raster as the project is estimated as being$100,000 os less. Bids <br /> were solicited from sixsite work contractors an the list. Five of <br /> the six are too busy to <br /> mea[ our October completion date and the <br /> only one capable of doing the job had a bid of$96,695. This bid is <br /> within the budget estimate provided by the architect on the job. <br /> vi Staff recommends the bid be accepted. <br /> RESOLUTION <br />.
