50 0 <br /> January 30,1991 <br /> AND, that it is the policy of the City of Everett mi to work <br /> cooperatively with other purveying throughout Snohomish County <br /> and throughout the State of Washington, <br /> AND, that it is the policy of the City of Everett to pursue <br /> regional conservation projects that produce greater benefits at <br /> a lower cost,eand <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Brett does hereby adopt the Interim Water Conservation <br /> Program of the City Cf Everett, <br /> AND, that the,City Council of the City of Everett hereby <br /> authorizes and directs the preparation of a long-range water <br /> conservation plan for the City of Everett and all consumers of <br /> City of Everett water. <br /> Roll was called with alloilmen voting y except <br /> Councilman Anderson who was sed., <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Ken Housden,Director of Public Works, introduced Linda Utgard, <br /> 0 <br /> water conservationist and new City employee,to the Council. <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT-1991 GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLANNING PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, <br /> conded by Councilman Moser to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign an interlocal agreement. with <br /> Snohomish County for$79,790 in pass-through funding for growth <br /> management efforts in Everett. <br /> When the State of Washington Legislature passed the new Growth <br /> Management Act (2929) they <br /> an <br /> same funding to help pay <br /> some of the costs of the m dated requirements of the Act. A <br /> joint application w made by Snohomish County through the <br /> Snohomish County Tomorrow effort, to the State,of Washington, <br /> Department of communityvela mnt for this funding.
