116 <br /> 0 <br /> AGREEMENT March 15,1991 <br /> 0 <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Anderson for <br /> the City to accept responsibility for liability that may arise <br /> from GTE leased equipment on City premises and authorise the <br /> Mayor to sign a Waiver of Insurance Agreement. <br /> Councilman Diamond had a question regarding who would be <br /> maintaining this equipment. Jim Puteney stated the equipment <br /> was under warranty for the first year and then a maintenance <br /> agreement would have to be signed. <br /> Attorney Bruce Jones told Council that the leasing company <br /> wanted to be treated as a bank. They want the equipment <br /> insured, and since the City self insures, an indemnification <br /> was needed. He felt this was an appropriated business <br /> circumstance. <br /> %gLli'tinecshtoar:1.1'ntarnetheCieqUipgg'ib-h=:. tic "chn"' <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> • Motion carried. 0 <br /> SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE-MUNICIPAL COURT FURNITURE <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Overstreet <br /> to approve Bank and Office Interiors as a sole source for <br /> Municipal Court office furniture in the amount of$12,000 plus <br /> Washington State sales tax. <br /> The remodel of the Municipal Court will require modifications <br /> to existing court•furniture, as well as several new work <br /> stations to accommodate e new computer system and future staff <br /> increases. <br /> Steelcase modular office furniture has been Chosen for its <br /> adaptability with existing furniture and its use as a standard <br /> throughout all City departments and is available on Washington <br /> State Contract 111-87 through our interlocal agreement. Bank a <br /> Office Interiors is the vendor that represents the State as <br /> supplier of Steelcase. Funds for this furniture will come out <br /> of the City's Criminal Justice allocation from the State. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. () <br /> Motion carried. <br />
