President Morrow Indicated that <br /> input from staff was needed: <br /> Ron Gipson, 6716 Morgan Road, Everett, requested that he be 0 <br /> directed as to what could be done to resolve a traffic problem, <br /> speeding motorists, on Morgan Road in the vicinity of the <br /> baseball P1Leotwo ayor Kinch said he would contact Assistant <br /> on • <br /> Chief Mike Letter and Sarah Frenne to work with Mr. Gipson on <br /> an alternative solution. <br /> Gail Chism, 4601 S. 4th, requested that the Simpson Time <br /> building still hadn't been s red and was very dangerous. <br /> Mayor Kinch said he would take action on this <br /> Chism also commented that the railroad noise in the Lowell <br /> neighborhood was still a concern and very annoying. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING-1991 COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANTS <br /> President Morrow opened the public hearing on 1991 Community <br /> Block Grant funding. <br /> Acting chairperson of the Citizens Advisory Committee for <br /> Housing and Community Development, Kurt Munnich, told Council <br /> they were being requested to adopt the 1991 Community <br /> Development Block Grant budget as <br /> recommended by the Citizens <br /> Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development. Ne <br /> gave a briefsummary of how they arrived dat their <br /> recommendations. He stated theittee would further <br /> antl that next yeartlithe Block Grantt Funding be coordinated <br /> withmthe Xuman Needs Funng. The committee recommended a new <br /> recipient this year, Cocoon House, a shelter m services for 0 <br /> abused and homeless teenagers. <br /> President Morrow asked If there were any citizens who wished to <br /> comment. /\ <br /> 0 <br />
