He indicated that the <br /> Mayor of Moscow has endorsed Cascade's visit, as well as Mayor <br /> Kinch. He gave credit to Mx. Tomaias for the idea's <br /> inception. He further indicated that it was his "greatest <br /> dream to see the Russian people smiling as much as he sees the <br /> Americans." <br /> Paul Peterson, representative of the Cascade Band Boosters, <br /> told haw hard the students and parents had been working to <br /> raise money for the band's trip. He said continued community <br /> support w needed. Several fund raisers will be held and <br /> passed out information an them. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Overstreet announced that Snohomish County Tomorrow <br /> will be held next Wednesday. <br /> • <br /> Councilman Anderson attended a Centennial Committee meeting and <br /> asked for ideas from the councilmembers for centennial projects. <br /> Councilman Pope campllmentetl the Council secretary, Pam Dixon, <br /> on her efforts on the new decor In the Council office. <br /> Councilman Gipson introduced Martha, his grandaughter who was <br /> in attendance. <br />{ <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Morrow represented Council and attended Marysvilie's <br /> centennial celebration this past weekend. Our Parks Department <br /> presented a collage saluting Marysville on its 100th birthday. <br /> ( The working relationship between the City of Everett and <br /> Marysville has been excellent. <br /> The Council workshop tentatively scheduled for April 13 has <br /> been changed to April 10 at 12:00 p.m. <br /> Agenda item 00, CAD and RMS hardware and software purchase by <br /> the Police Department was delayed until questions from the <br /> Budget Committee have been resolved. <br />
