186 <br /> April 24,1991 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 8:30 a.m., April 24, 1991 in the City Council Chambers <br /> of the Everett City Hall, President Morrow presiding. Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the April 17,1991 were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Pinch proclaimed the days of April 26 and April 27, 1991 <br /> as International Toastmasters Days throughout the City of <br /> Everett and ask all citizens to recognize the contributions <br /> made by this worthwhile international organization. <br /> Myron Tollefson, Utilities, introduced Johnny Soulier, <br /> Utilities, who has just completed certification in two areas: <br /> Wastewater Collection Specialist I, and Water Distribution <br /> Specialist in Training. Mayor Kinch presented the certificates. <br /> Leslie Ganz briefed Council on a statewide project,the Korean <br /> 0 Veterans Memorial.She stated it is an effort to raise$250,000 <br /> for the purpose of constructing a memorial to the Korean War <br /> Veterans of Washington state. She requested a donation by the <br /> City as well as the City's endorsement of the project. A <br /> PrOapeCtUS was handed out to all,councilmembers.
