200 <br /> May 1,1991 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 8:30 a.m. May 1, 100110 the City Council Chanters of <br /> the Everett City All, President Morrow presiding. Upon roll <br /> call it was found Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the April 24, 1991 meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> 0 <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> The week of May 5-11 was proclaimed National Drinking Water <br /> Week. <br /> Ray Nielsen, Public works, updated cauncilmembers on the <br /> various activities that would take place during National <br /> Drinking Water Week: displays at Everett Mall; a Bucket <br /> Brigade;and a Spring Runoff, <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> C Mayor Kinch and the members of Everett City Council proclaimed <br /> the desire to create a sister city relationship between the <br /> people of Everett and the people of Sligo,Ireland. <br /> Councilmembers reeffirnmd the desire to create a sister city <br /> relationship with Sligo, Ireland with a roll call and all <br /> counoilmembers voting Yee. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor cinch reported that he had attended the National Mayors <br /> Institute on Design this past week and found it very <br /> informative. <br /> I C COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Moser reported that PSCOG met last week and since <br /> Pierce, King and Snohomish Counties didn't sign the interlocal <br /> agreement for tae reorganization of PSCOC, a new interlocal <br /> agreement is being drafted. Until then MOO will function <br /> until January 1,1992 with the right to disband at an earlier <br /> date if necessary. He also extended a thank you from the Youth <br /> Commission for the workshop provided by Council. <br /> C <br />
