h _ - <br /> 314 0 <br /> R June 26,1991 <br /> <i <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting res except <br /> Councilmen Gipson and Diamond who were excused. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Ken Housden, Public Works Director, told C uncilmembers that <br /> our staff at the Water Filtration plant wCeresponsible for <br /> developing the new filter media and that it would double the <br /> treatment capacity and save the City,money. <br /> President.Morrow felt this accomplishment by our employees was <br /> worth recognition. <br /> AGREEMENT-SNOHOMISH COUNTY <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilmen Moser to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement for the rental of <br /> additional space to Snohomish County in the Mall Street <br /> Building. <br /> Carlton Gipson, Administration, told Council that this space <br /> had been improved prior to OUP earnest money agreement on the <br /> Wall Street Building and negotiation in progress with the (�) <br /> County on this space at that time. This agreement would rent <br /> an additional 3,630 sq. feet of apace on the fifth floor of the <br /> Well.Street Building to the County for additional $4,nI0 per <br /> aonth. This will be a month-LP-Month tenancy while an overall <br /> greement for County occpancy is being negotiated. <br /> Councilman Overstreet asked if there <br /> roncilmember <br /> liaison c mmitte member and suggested to President Morrow that <br /> it be considered. <br /> uncilmembers felt there should be a master plan for occupancy <br /> of the Wall Street Building and.that they would like more <br /> details regarding this. They requested a workshop next week on <br /> this issue. <br /> 0 <br /> Mayor Winch said that the consultants, MBBJ, were <br /> working on <br /> tthe heldi ace study and scheduling the move to theWall Street <br /> Councilman Overstreet withdrew his motion as it was passible <br /> that a relative of his was involved in the negotiation process <br /> and it could be considered a conflict of interest. <br /> 0 <br /> 9 <br />
