I C 395 <br /> duly 31,1991 <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Diamond to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 3504 concerning demolition of buildings <br /> situated at 3919 High Street asfollows: <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council passed Resolution No. 3387 0 <br /> October 24, 1990, authorizing the demolition of the buildings <br /> situated at 3919 High Street,Everett,Washington;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council, on May 21, 1991, awarded a <br /> bid to Brad Mason Trucking and Excavating, Inc.,for demolition <br /> of the buildings at 3919 High, Everett, <br /> erett, subject to the City <br /> working with the property owner inorder to possibly avert the <br /> need for demolition;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the o of the <br /> property has sale pending which would result in the <br /> rehabilitation of the building;and <br /> I WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the rehabilitation <br /> of the buildings rather than demolition of the buildings would <br /> be preferable for both the City end the property owner;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that due to the pending <br /> i_ sale of the subject property, demolition of the buildings will <br /> � not be required; <br /> NOW,VERETT:THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF E <br /> 1. That due to the pending sale, the buildings located at <br /> 3919 High Street Will n t be a mollshed. <br /> 2. That Brad Mason Trucking and Excavating is hereby <br /> released by the City from its obligation for demolition <br /> of the buildings at 3919 High Street, as established by <br /> the bid award dated May 21,1991. <br /> 3. That if the pending sale has not Closed on or before <br /> August 7, 1991,City Staff shall report to Council before <br /> further action is taken by the city related to the <br /> demolition or the buildings.. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
