I C 395 duly 31,1991 Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Diamond to adopt Resolution No. 3504 concerning demolition of buildings situated at 3919 High Street asfollows: WHEREAS, the Everett City Council passed Resolution No. 3387 0 October 24, 1990, authorizing the demolition of the buildings situated at 3919 High Street,Everett,Washington;and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council, on May 21, 1991, awarded a bid to Brad Mason Trucking and Excavating, Inc.,for demolition of the buildings at 3919 High, Everett, erett, subject to the City working with the property owner inorder to possibly avert the need for demolition;and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the o of the property has sale pending which would result in the rehabilitation of the building;and I WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the rehabilitation of the buildings rather than demolition of the buildings would be preferable for both the City end the property owner;and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that due to the pending i_ sale of the subject property, demolition of the buildings will � not be required; NOW,VERETT:THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF E 1. That due to the pending sale, the buildings located at 3919 High Street Will n t be a mollshed. 2. That Brad Mason Trucking and Excavating is hereby released by the City from its obligation for demolition of the buildings at 3919 High Street, as established by the bid award dated May 21,1991. 3. That if the pending sale has not Closed on or before August 7, 1991,City Staff shall report to Council before further action is taken by the city related to the demolition or the buildings.. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried.
