Both the vendors and the King County Library <br /> System are agreeable to allow the City of Everett to purchase <br /> these items at the unit prices bid. RCP 3934 provides for such <br /> interlocal cooperation. <br /> Roved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> authorize the interlocal purchases Pram King County library <br /> System's bids es follows, 39 Wyse terminals from Jadtec <br /> Computers at$16,017.57 including Washington State sales tax and <br /> 22 Internee Barcode Readers from Barcodes West at $14,273.68 <br /> including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> Mark Nesse, Library, announced that two significant events'are <br /> coming up: 1) August 3 at 8:30 a.m. will be moving day for the <br /> library and;2) the grand opening for the library will be August <br /> 10 at 1:00 p.m. <br /> Councilman Gipson asked if vacation cf excess City right-of-way <br /> for sidevmlks and parking was needed. Mark was not aware of <br /> this issue and stated that Dave Davis, Public Works, would be <br /> able to answer this question. <br /> FIRE STATION NO.2 CONTRACT AMENDMENT <br /> The original contract and its first amendment set the <br /> construction estimate at $1,200,000. The final construction <br /> costs including bid on the building and site work came to <br /> $1,778,668. This increase resulted in a proportional increase <br /> of the architect, fee; the original fee of $99,960 plus fee <br /> 1 increase of$48,203 results in a new fee of$148,163. <br />
