They wanted to be able <br /> to have some input at the state level. City Attorney Jones said <br /> we are not precluded from police power regulations if there is <br /> something the City vents to regulate. He further told <br /> councilmembers that State law dictates what can be done or not 0 <br /> done. Councilman Anderson felt cities and counties can do other <br /> things above what the State does. Jerry Vrooman said we would <br /> have to check on how we as a public entity could complain to the <br /> State about particular businesses. Councilman Moser wanted to <br /> have input into the WAC. Councilmembers felt the City should be <br /> notified if a license is being reviewed by the State.
