499 <br /> September 5,1991 <br /> The SEP;Appeals Hearingof the Boeing Expansion Project was <br /> reconvened g <br /> at 8:00 a.m. n Thursday,September 5,1991With all <br /> ncilmembers in attendance and Walter Sellers serving as I <br /> Moderator. <br /> HOUSING <br /> C <br /> Paul Roberts, the Responsible Official, addressed the issues <br /> raisetln appeal concerning housing including the mitigation <br /> measures. Mr. Roberts requested that the $05,000 voluntary <br /> contribution in support of the housing issue on the September <br /> ballot be removed from the voluntary mitigation requirements. <br /> Gregory P representing the Snohomish County Alliance <br /> to End Homelessness, voiced his objection to the 30 minute time <br /> limit for each presentation. Mr. Provenzano presented the <br /> adverse impacts on the housing availability for the low-income <br /> and the homeless. Steven Holt, Executive Director of Snohomish <br /> County Housing Authority, reviewed the methodology for <br /> determining housing needs. <br /> Richard McCann addressed the issues raised c rning housing <br /> and, along with Frank Flgg, wed-Boeings and Boeing <br /> Employees contributions to the community and Snohomish County. <br /> Council expressed concern with the specific direction of the <br /> housing dollars as required under the Decision Document. <br /> President Morrow asked Boeing to consider allocating the funds <br /> between the Gospel Mission and the Snohomish County Housing <br /> Trust. <br /> Moved by Councilmen Gipson, onded by Councilman Pope to <br /> strike the requirement of the$25,000 voluntary donation to the <br /> Housing proposition,affirm the Decision Document, and deny the <br /> appeals in regards to Housing Issues. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 9` <br />
