C) 522 <br /> October 2,1991 <br /> BID REPORT-RUNCUTTING SOFTWARE <br /> Two bids were opened at the August 29, 1991 bid opening for <br /> runcutting software as follows: <br /> U.5.O.Engineering Ltd.,Ontario s:3:;212 <br /> Staff recommends awarding the contract to the lowest and most <br /> C responsive bidder, U.M.A. Engineering Ltd. Teleride Sage did <br /> not respond to all aspects of the specifications as requested. <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Councilman Morrow <br /> to award the contract for runcutting software to U.M.A. <br /> Engineering Ltd„ Ontario, Canada, the lowest and most <br /> responsive bidder, at their bid amount of $47,310 excluding <br /> sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilmen Anderson,Moser,Diamond and Pope who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> GRANT AGREEMENT-TREES <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet, secondednt byagreement Councilman Gipson <br /> to authorize the Mayor to sign a grawith the <br /> Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Small Business <br /> Association for tree planting. <br /> The Park Department has successfully competed for a tree <br /> planting grant from the Department of Natural Resources and the <br /> U.S. Small Business Administration. The project will plant a <br /> total of 148 street trees on McDougall and Baker Avenues. Both <br /> J the trees and the planting will he purchased from small <br /> businesses. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilmen Anderson,Moser,Diamond and Pope who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • <br />
