He wanted to <br /> make sure that the locations of these facilities including <br /> handicapped,group homes,etc.be addressed as far as zoning. <br /> Councilman Overstreet asked if group homes included the <br /> handicapped. Mr. Gotten said the zoning code does provide for <br /> the handicapped in group homes. He further said that special <br /> property use permits also address the issue. <br /> Councilman Moser also had a question regarding "rooming house" <br /> a."roomers.. <br /> Councilman Gipson wanted to make sure that the issue of <br /> homeless families be addressed. Mr. Giffen pointed out that <br /> accessory dwelling units would help address this issue. <br /> Councilman Moser asked if more than one mother-in-law apartment <br /> would be permitted.
