Box 5550, read a letter submitted to the <br /> Council by the Washington State Septic Tank Pumpers <br /> Association,Inc. in apposition to this increase. It spoke in <br /> opposition to the increase in septage ratess It would <br /> discourage people from getting their septic tankscleaned and <br /> result in water quality problems and illegal dumping. He <br /> Troy Summers,1293 State, Marysville, stated that this'rate was <br /> substantialeand also Pelt it would di'ncoUtage' <br /> residents in keeping up their septic tanks. <br /> David Lowe, <br /> w 11311 19th Avenue SE, septic tank designer,pointed <br /> out thatthe new systems need to be cleaned more often. With <br /> out slow economy he felt this increase would burden septic tank <br /> owners and they would delay servicing. <br /> Lee Brunson, 12720 Woods Lakeoad, Monroe, former septic <br /> pumper, said that public education on the necessity for septic <br /> tank cleaning has been a priority of their association.
