114 <br /> March 25,1992 <br /> () <br /> Linda Lucas-Geon,Everett, member of the Management Committee of <br /> the Association Board, said that the artifacts belong to the <br /> Association and if the agreement 1s terminated they will most <br /> likely be moved out of the City. <br /> Stewart Aldcroft, of Everett, Chairmen of the Mayor's Museum <br /> Advisory Beard, reviewed the difficulties in dealingwith the <br /> Association. He said that the Executive Director of the Museum <br /> was not allowed to attend the Association's Board Meetings. The <br /> City and the Museum Advisory Committee have been negotiating a <br /> new contract for 010 years with the Association to no avail. <br /> The Advisory Board ends that the agreement with the <br /> Snohomish County Museum andHistoricalAssociation be terminated. <br /> Bob Humphrey,apparent25 Colby, member of the Advisory Board,said that <br /> it is' ypthat the differences between the City and <br /> Association c not be reconciled at this time. <br /> Gail Chism, of Lowell, spoke against the termination of the <br /> agreement. <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Councilmen Biemond <br /> to authorize the Mayor to terminate the agreement with Snohomish <br /> County Museum and Historical Association and advise the /� <br /> Association by letter allowing them to maintain the well exhibit , I <br /> through July 4,1992. <br /> The Mayor said that the July date was acceptable with the <br /> understanding that all of the Association's effects would be <br /> removed a few days after the exhibit closes. <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-CENTER FOR THE ARTS(2729 and 2733 COLBY AVENUE) <br /> Moved by Councilman Pope, seconded <br /> onded by Councilman Campbell to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign alease agreement with Colby Square <br /> Partners for premises at 2729 and 2733 Colby Avenue. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> O <br />
