April 1,1992 116 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council w sc alled to <br /> order at 8:30 a , April 1, 1992,in the city Council Chambers <br /> of the Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the March 25, 1992 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Kinch proclaimed April 1-7 as Public Health Week and <br /> urged all citizens to join inseeking knowledge end <br /> understanding of public health issues. Rick Mockler, Snohomish <br /> Health District,responded. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Marla Carter, Public Works, gave a.special slide presentation <br /> n the City's involvement in the Northwest Flower. and Garden <br /> Shaw held In Seattle last month. She related that <br /> the exhibit <br /> was a cooperative effort by the Water ConservationCoalition of <br /> C Puget Sound of which the City is a member. A thank you went to <br /> all Perks Department employees. She introduced Barbara <br /> Sullivan, City of Redmond, and representing the Water <br /> Conservation Coalition of Puget Sound. Ms. Sullivan presented <br /> Pam Roy, Parks Department, with s memento of appreciation for <br /> her efforts in designing and overseeing the installation of the <br /> exhibit at the Home and Garden Snow. <br /> Mayor cinch announced that City Attorney Mike Weight has <br /> requested an executive session of real estate matter at the <br /> conclusion of today's meeting. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Overstreet announced a Snohomish County Tomorrow <br /> meeting scheduled for tonight. President Gipson asked that an <br /> update of Snohomish'County Tomorrow be presehted in the neer <br /> future. Councilman Pope asked that specifically the update <br /> address the contributions of other cities. <br /> C <br />
