247 <br /> July 1,1992 <br /> Resolution No.3643 is as follows( <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Washington has appropriated funds for the ! <br /> roadpprovements to 37th Street(Rucker to Broadway)to assist <br /> ter traffic from the waterfront 00 1-5;and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council passed Resolution No. 2825 on February <br /> 25, 1987 committing City matching funds to road improvements <br /> along 37th Street;and <br /> WHEREAS,the current estimated cost for the 37th Street roadway <br /> improvementerexceedslavailable funding;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port Gardner Neighborhood Group is opposed to 37th <br /> Street roadway improvements;and <br /> WHEREAS,proposed improvements to the 41st Street corridor will <br /> provide additional capacity needed for Homeport traffic, and <br /> can be constructed within available funding. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> ( <br /> The City will provide matching funds for roadway improvements <br /> t. along 41st Street (Grand-Broadway) to assist commuter traffic <br /> from the waterfront to 1-5. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-MUKIETED BLVD.SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Campbell to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign a Participation Agreement between <br /> Daily Homes, Inc. and the City of Everett for sidewalk <br /> improvements on Mukilteo Boulevard. <br /> Dave Davis, Public Works, told councilmembers that insertions <br /> in the contract should be that the developer agrees to have the <br /> sidewalk improvements constructed no later than September 1, <br /> 1992 and if the developer fails to comply,with sold date, the <br /> BTiVloper shall return to the City the amount of r_t_E2/unless <br /> an extension is authorized by the Public Works Director.
