271 <br /> July 22,1992 <br /> Maxyatt Industries <br /> $83,095.95 ) <br /> G 0 N Services 86,036.10 <br /> Aster Services 102,392.60 <br /> Overall Laundry 123,008.30 <br /> Staff recommends awarding the contract to the lowest and most <br /> responsive bidder,Maxyatt Industries for a three year period. <br /> BIO AWARD <br /> Moved by Councilman Pope, seconded by Councilman Moser that the <br /> contract for workers uniform cleaning be awarded to the law <br /> bidder,Maryatt Industries,based upon their proposal and unit <br /> bid of unit prices extended for the annual estimated total of <br /> 803,095.95 including Washington State Sales tax as received at <br /> the bid opening held at 2:00 p.m.,May 20,1992. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmenvoting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COMMUNITY THEATER MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET PLAN (l <br /> Notedly Councilman Campbell,s onded by Councilmen Overstreet <br /> to adapt.the Community Theater Management and Budget Plan. <br /> Finance Director Bill Cushman explained that a Management and <br /> Budget Plan has been prepared far Council's consideration for <br /> the purpose of beginning the management process of the <br /> Community Theater.. The plan..envis,ionsthat the management of <br /> the theater will he:.by management,contract with a private <br /> non-profit theater management organization;. the management <br /> organization will have a board of directors, an executive <br /> director,and staff;and the board of directors will consist of <br /> representatives from businesses, citizens and arts. Mr. <br /> Cushman directed Council's attention to the ten points of <br /> advice that had.been.reaped from various theater administrators. <br /> Councilman Diamond felt Council should be aware that there <br /> could beapotential problem with the Community College <br /> regarding ueaga of the theater. Mr. Cushman agreed that this <br /> should be worked out at the very beginning.
