August 26,1992 <br /> Rall was called on the consent agenda items with all councilmen <br /> voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM RENEWAL <br /> Moved by Councilman Moser,seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute Employee Assistance Program <br /> Renewal agreement with Family Counseling Services. <br /> Mayor Minch reported that Peed- back Prom City employees <br /> regarding this service has been very positive. <br /> Rall was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Moved by Councilman Campbell, seconded by Councilman Anderson <br /> to adopt Resolution No.3661 addressing a gateway service club <br /> signage policy as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council Pinds that service clubs Provide an <br /> important Punction to the Everett community;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City.Council finds that it Is important that <br /> service clubs be provided with the opportunity to have some <br /> farm of gateway signage to the City of Everett;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this poi icy establishes <br /> reasonable guidelines for gateway signage for service clubs; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT that this resolution does.hereby encompass the City <br /> of Everett service club signage policy. <br /> Section 1: SERVICE CLUB PARTICIPANTS <br /> Service clubs for purposes of this resolution shall be defined <br /> as organized groups within the City of Everett dedicated to <br /> philanthropy end locally chartered for at least five years. <br /> Section 2: SIGNAGE COORDINATOR <br /> A. The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department will <br /> coordinate all items dealing with gateway service club signage. <br />
