March 22,2000 <br /> Moved by Councilmmnber Warnock, seconded by Councilmember <br /> Overstreet to award the Request for Proposal for Risk Management <br /> Information System(ANIS)software to Dorn Technology Group,Inc., <br /> Livonia,MI,at their proposed price of$74,485.00 and to authorize the <br /> Mayor to negotiate and execute a contract that includes a seems and <br /> maintenance agreement. <br /> Roll was caned with all cnuncilnembers voting yes except Coamilmember <br /> Gipson who voted no. <br /> Mallon carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—STRATEGIC PLAN/PROF DEPARTMENT <br /> Moved by Catmalmember Warnock, seconded by Councihoember <br /> Overstreet,to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services agreement <br /> with Tri-Data Corporation in the amount of$74,000.00 to complete a <br /> strategic plan for the Everett Fire Department <br /> Tri-Data Corporation has the expertise is the development of strategic plans and <br /> will provide an analysis on such matters including prevention,training,staffing, <br /> equipment and apparatus,station locations and other operational components. <br /> Couocilmember Anderson stated Mat this item came before the Budget <br /> Committee and the Public Safety Committee. <br /> Cauncihnember Gipson questioned the need for an additional study to be done. <br /> Chief 011is,Fire Department,stated that Tri-Dare Corporation will review the <br /> data and figures already gathered by the City of Everett and make unbiased <br /> recommendations regarding manpower,equipment and station locations. <br /> Further discussion ensued regarding the need for the study. <br />
