March 22,2000 <br /> Attorney foist stated that according to the City Charter,the property must be <br /> anrpinaed before any disposition can be made <br /> Discussion followed regarding whether the decision to surplus the propeny <br /> needed to be made at this meeting. <br /> Counoilmember Warnock suggested that other potential developers should be <br /> given a dame to purchase the property. <br /> Councilmember Simpson sated that be felt that the decision to surplus the • <br /> property should be postponed. <br /> Coumiwember Anderson commented that the parking garage is a liability to <br /> the City and should be surplused and disposed of as soon as possible. <br /> Roll was called with all coutcilmembers voting yes except Coumibrcmbers <br /> Warnock,Overstreet,Gipson and Simpson. <br /> Motion defeated. <br /> Coumiltmmber Pope requested that his vote be changed to a no so that he will <br /> have the oppomtnity to bring the issue back ata Ater date. <br /> NOTICE OF INTENTION-PROPERTY EXCHANGE <br /> This item authorizing the publication of the Notice of Intention to <br /> convey/exchange the City owned property located at 2919 Hoyt Avenue for the <br /> property located at 2814 Colby Avenue,was pulled from the agenda. <br /> AGREEMENT-PHASE 3 SYSTEM PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES <br /> Moved by Councilmember Simpson,seconded by Couneilmember Warnock <br /> to authorize the Mayor to sign,on behalf of Everett Transit,the agreement <br />
