February 2,2000 <br /> BID CALL-RENTAL RETURN VEHICLES <br /> To approve a call for bids for rental rehon vehicles. <br /> Roll was called on the consent agenda hems with all caorilmembers voting <br /> Lei. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BID CALL-SMITH AVENUE,FULTON STREET AND HILL <br /> AVENUE DelPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> Moved by Couvcilmember Overstreet,wended by Councilm®bar Gipson <br /> to approve a call for bids for the Smith Avenue,Fulton Street and Hill <br /> Avenue Improvements project. <br /> Coouncilnember Gipson questioned whether there are any federal dollars going <br /> this project. <br /> Dave Davis,Engineering,stated that there are not.The project will be funded <br /> by Sound Transit. <br /> Councilmember Simpson questioned whether the neighborhoods would be <br /> impacted by the construction of these projects. <br /> Dave Davis stated that there would be limited impacts on the residents along <br /> Fulton and that the Pacific Avenue access to Eagle Hardware would be inhibited <br /> fora time. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br />
