May 17,2000 <br /> Roll was called with all nourcilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-WOOD ASH <br /> Moved by Cauneilmember Warnock,seconded by Councilmember Gipson <br /> to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement to purchase wood ash from <br /> Kimberly-Clark and register,market and distribute the ash as a component <br /> in a soil amendment. <br /> This agreement allows the City to purchase wood ash from Kimberly-Clark for <br /> 5.50 per wet ton(total expenditure of$5,000). The ash will be used in the <br /> manufacture of an organic soil amendmem. The City will charge Kimberly- <br /> Clark a fee of$7.50 per wet ton(rod mvenue of$75,000)for the registration, <br /> distribution and marketing of this material. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-SIMPSON PROPERTY <br /> Moved by Coundlmember Pope,seconded by Cauorihnember Anderson to <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute a license agreement with WHL.L.C.for <br /> placement of fill at the permitted City-owned Simpson Property and other <br /> approved City-owned sites. <br /> The City of Everett has obtained a permit to place up to 300,000 cubic yards of <br /> material at a permitted location on the Simpson Property.WHLL.C.will be <br /> responsible for testing the fill material and for delivering clean fill on site.For <br /> serial delivered to the site.the City will be billed directly form the <br /> Burlington Northern Santa Fee Railroad for the fid$10.000.00 for the cost of <br />
