July 26.2000 <br /> FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City of Everett and hs citizens,businesses, <br /> and community organisations shall find appropriate ways to support the officers, <br /> crew and families of the USS Abraham Lincoln W show our appreciation for <br /> the sacrifice,they make in serving our country and at the same t :,their <br /> helping to make our community a better place to live. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except Councilmembers <br /> Anderson and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Hansen sml d that he attended an Endangered Species Act meeting <br /> yesterday and rammed that time w sat aside during'Mayor's Comments'or a <br /> workshop be scheduled to update the eouncilmemben on recent iuues. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councilmemba Pope reminded everyone about the events scheduled for the <br /> National Night Out Against Crime on August 1,2000. <br /> Councilmember Warnock reported that he attended the Friends of the Ilbrary <br /> breakfast this morning. <br /> Deb Williams,Council Director,gave a brief report on the American Cancer <br /> Society's"Relay for Life. <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> President Campbell announced that the public hearing is scheduled foe agenda <br /> item#17,a proposed ordinance establishing coning for the Airport Rad <br /> Annexation,but due to the late arrival of additional information,the vote will <br /> be continued to next wok's City Council mating agenda. <br />
