October 4,2000 <br /> REPORT-PACIFIC AVENUE OVERPASS PROJECT <br /> Wayne Wentz,Traffic Engineer,gave a report regarding the closing of a <br /> portion of Pacific Avenue during the coutmction of the Pacific Avenue <br /> Overpass.Pacific Avenue between Fulton Street and McDougall will be closed <br /> October 16,2000 for approximately 14 months.Study by consultants found that <br /> the quickest and most economical means to complete the project was a full <br /> closure of Pacific Avenue. To prepare for this closure transit has added a <br /> downtown circulator route employers end the newspapers have received <br /> notification,signage is in place and maps have been prepared for distribution. <br /> Additionally information updates will be placed on Channel 28 and the web site. <br /> Councihoember Gipson asked if a ane-lace closure was reviewed.
