November 15,2000 <br /> Roll was called with all couocilmembers voting yea except Councllmember <br /> Gipson who voted no and Councilmembers Anderson,Warnock and Pope who <br /> were excused. <br /> Marlon carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> President Campbell slated that now is the time to begin the public bearings on <br /> the items related to the proposed changes in the Comprehensive Plan Map and <br /> related resolutions where applicable. These items are#11,a proposed <br /> maroon denying the proposal to amend the land use designation for the 1.1 <br /> acre she located at the northwest corner of Berkshire and Madison;#12,a <br /> proposed ordinance changing the land use designation for the I acre site located <br /> on 9"Avenue south of 100"Street;Ill,a proposed resolution of intent to <br /> rezone for the I acre site located on 9e Avenue south of 100.Street;and did,a <br /> proposed ordinance changing the land use designation for the 5.7 acre site <br /> lamed west of Hwy 99 and south 00112.Street SW. <br /> He stated that it is important that the City Council hearings are not only faro in <br /> fact,but also fair in appearance. He quesdoved whether any cmmcilmember <br /> knews of a conflict of interest Oat he may have with either the proposed <br /> Comprehensive Plan map amendments or resolutions for the Don Avery, <br /> William Scrumps or Marc Bhend applications.There was no response. <br /> He questioned whether any member of the public has any objection to his.or <br /> any councilmembers'participation in the proposed land use map amendments <br /> and resolutions.There wed no response. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—LAND USE DESIGNATION/DON AVERY <br /> President Campbell opened a public hearing to consider the request fora change <br /> in the Comprehensive Plan map for the Don Avery properly lasted at the <br /> northwest corner of Madison at Berkshire.from 13(Single Family Detached, <br /> 10 to 12 dwellings per acre)to 1.0(Mule-Family,20-29 dwellings per acre)and <br /> 522 <br />
