December 13,2000 <br /> FOOD SERVICES OF AMERICA <br /> This agenda item to approve Special Property Use Permit No.00-010 <br /> authorizing Food Service of America to construct and operate a helicopter <br /> landing facility on their property in SW Eemett,was continued to the January 3, <br /> 2001 City Council meeting. <br /> USE OF CITY PROPERTY LICENSE-CHILDREN'S MUSEUM <br /> Moved by Cauvdlmember Anderson, seconded by CouneRmember <br /> Warnock to authorize the Mayor to execute a Use of City Property License <br /> with the Children's Museum. <br /> The Children's Museum is relocating to a building located at 1502 Wall Street, <br /> which currently encroaches ono City right-of-way along Wan Shed and Hoyt <br /> Avenues.The Use of City Property License needs to be exemted to allow for <br /> the building and aerial overhang encroachment. <br /> Cauncilmember Gipson questioned whether the City entered into the same <br /> agreement with Everett Mutual when they owned the property.Craig Fullerton, <br /> Real Property stated that they have been unable to find a right-of-way lease <br /> agreement with Everett Mutual. He remarked that they would not have been <br /> allowed to construct a building that was encroaching on the City right-of-way <br /> without a permit being issued,but permits were not recorded at that time. <br /> Doug Ferguson,Aoderaoo Hunter,2707 Colby,and Nancy Johnson,Executive <br /> Director of the Children's Museum,commended the Mayor,City Council and <br /> the staff of We Planning,Real Property and Legal departments for their help <br /> with this project. <br /> Roll was called with all couneilmembers voting yes except Councilmember <br /> Campbell who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 573 <br />
