January 3,2001 8.Evidence was provided by an acoastiol engineer that the noise assessment prepared by Food Services of America does not sufficiently document the potential impact;and 9.FSA proposes to Fly the helicopter on a route generally above I-5,above SR- 526 and north over industrial property to their proposed help.on this site; and 10.11 carmot be assured that the helicopter flights will always be able to avoid flying over residential areas,and therefore,may create undesirable noise impacts that will be a nuisance to the affected neighborhood;and 11,The proposed heliport would be within 1,900 f of residential Properties in Verelan Estates which has approximately 158 homes,and the predominant helicopter flight path would be even closer to residential uses Since helicopter flights will likely not always avoid flying over residential neighborhoods,the proximity to the residential uses would create an undesirable mise impact;and 12.Snohomish County Airport,Paine Field,is located approximately four(4l driving miles from the ESA building.Helicopters may land at Paine Field Airport;and 13. FSA is proposed helipad if a private facility that would benefit a single private corporation.Southwest Everett in in close proximity to Paine Field, providing accessaosporodon services for business requiring that form of raosponafon.The neighborhood,ldisrict and City need in met by Paine Field Airport;and Resolution No.4995 in its entirety a fled in the City Clerk's office. Roll was called with all couuclme.mbers voting yes except Counciimembef Campbell who voted no and Councilmembef Anderson who was excused. Motion Carried.
