June 27,2001 <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembem voting yes except Commilmember <br /> Anderson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—SIX YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROGRAM <br /> President Simpson opened a public hearing regarding a proposed resolution <br /> approving the 2002-2007 Six Year Transportation Improvement Program. <br /> President Simpson invited public comment. <br /> Allan Gil Engineering stated that State regulations require that the six year <br /> Transportation Improvement Program be updated annually.The TIP includes all <br /> of the expenditures that are anticipated on transportation projects from 2002 <br /> through 2007.Upon adoption of the program it is automatically incorporated into <br /> the Comprehensive Plan sad assists in the City's pursuit of State and Federal <br /> transportation grant turd¢. <br /> Gail China,4601 S.41°Avenue,quesd0oed whether the Transportation <br /> Improvement Program includes a park and ride an 36°Street Allan Giffm stated <br /> Mat it did.She requested that the park and ride and the 41"Street Overema®ng <br /> project he removed from the program. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Pope,seconded by Councllmember Overstreet to <br /> close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmemhers voting yes except Couocilmember <br /> Anderson who was excuse. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 245 <br />
