He remarked that there are no restrictions regarding exceeding the hours in the plan Cuncih0onba Overstreet expressed concern that the plan doce not include significant activities by elected officials and staff regarding transit aervioe. Counc0Menther Gipson questioned whether any other agencies have previously been included in the City's TIP.lCen Housden sated that they have only included joint projects where there hes been a signed agreement Councilmember Overstreet remarked that he has now been directed to pages in the plan that reference the City's involvement with Community Transit. Councilmember Campbell commented toot the City of Everett has gone above and beyond in their effort to work with Community Tmmsit.He stated that the State Legislature has tried to draft legislation to take Everett Transit away from the City because they do a better job of serving the citizens efEverett Cuncilmember Warnock agreed that the City of Everett has stepped up to the plate and done a tremendous job for the citizens regarding transit He remarked that the story hes not been told very well. 248
