They require all cities and enunties to address State- <br /> mimed facilities within the transportation elements of thew Comprehensive Plan. <br /> The proposal today isjust the minimum necessary to comply with the changes in <br /> the law.Additional work to evaluate transportation policies and potential projects <br /> will be looked at hn more dad when growth boundary and land use plan issues <br /> are addressed <br /> Councilmember Anderson questioned when the buildable lads amendments B <br /> the Growth Mangemant Area will come before the Council.Allan replied that <br /> the law states that the cities and counties were to have addressed the substance in <br /> the buildable land amendments by September 1,2002.However,it maybe two to <br /> three years after that depending on when Snohomish County adopts their <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Councimembu Warnock questioned why Be SR 526,he to the west city limits, <br /> project is not scheduled until after 2012.Allan stated that these projects and <br />
