Attorney Seine stated riot this <br /> ceting may be their only opportunity to express an opinion with regard to the <br /> exterior treatment of the building. <br /> Doo Hale,PFD,commented that the Public Facilities District is very receptive <br /> to changes regarding the use of exterior materials and Me detail work. He <br /> offered to work with the Council to find a satisfactory solution. <br /> Councilmember Warnock expressed his desire that design changes be considered <br /> on all four sides of the building.Don stated that they will look at the cost of <br /> making changes and what is affordable. <br /> Counoilmember Warnock remarked that it should be done right the first time <br /> even if it costs more. <br /> Councdmember Gipson expressed his desire that the architects incorporate the <br /> character of Hewitt Avenue into its design.Don replied that that is their goal. <br /> City Attorney Some stated that the proposed resolution should include direction <br /> of staff to incorporate the Public Facilities District's resolutions findings and <br /> conclusions. <br /> Moved by Couocpmember Warnock to make it a formal requirement that <br /> the Public Facilities District erect a brick facade on all four sides of the <br /> special events renter. <br /> Motion died for lack of second. <br /> Attorney Soine commented that page 5,section 56 of the proposed resolution <br /> addresses the use of the historic brick character for the support building as well <br /> as the Hewitt Avenue facade. <br /> There was additional discussion regarding window treatments and brickwork for <br /> the building. <br />
