December 12,2001 Couocilmember Campbell expressed concern regarding the additional costs associated with the shoring of the Scottish Rites Temple and questioned whether its demolition is included in the proposed resolution.CAA longus stated that the proposed resolution,alternative No.3,makes it clear that all of the buildings are to be k a;oliahed. He commented that if Couacilmember Campbell wishes to clarify that the Scottish Rites Temple will be included in the demolition,he could make a motion to that affect. Moved by Couneilmember Campbell,seconded by Couneileeember Pope to amend the moon to include an item No.7 eo the proposed resolution stating that the Scottish Rites Temple be purchased,demolished and used by the Public Facilities District in the construction of the project. Roll was called on the amendment to the motion with all councilmembers voting yea except Councilmember Warnock who voted no. Motion carried. Roll was called on the nam motion as amended with all councgmembers voting yes except Councilmember Warnock who voted no. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING-2002 DOWNTOWN EVERETT BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT BUDGET President Simpson opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No.01-11- SO.a proposed ordinance approving the 2002 Downtown Everett Buslaess Improvement budget and levying rhe 2002 Downtown Everett Business Improvement assessments.
