December 19,2001 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Bill Belshaw,2111 Rucker,thanked the Mayor and Council for their continued <br /> support on behalf of the Council of Neighborhoods. He also expressed their <br /> unanimous and heartfelt thanks to Counc0member Warnock and President <br /> Simpson for their 5100000 to the neighborhoods over the past four years. <br /> Ed Glazer,831 Rucker,spoke regarding the viability of the proposed Special <br /> Events Center.He questioned how the Council came to its decision regarding <br /> the arena since there was no discussion during the public hearing. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by Couneilmember Anderson, seconded by Councihaember <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution Na.5135 acknowledging the payment of audited and <br /> approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of$3,466,782.55 <br /> for the period of December 1,2001 through December 7,2001. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5136 acknowledging the payment of audRed and <br /> approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $2,440,899.54 for the period ending December 1,2001. <br /> Roll was called on the consent agenda items with all councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Mutton carried. <br /> 562 <br />
