December Iv,2001 RESOLUTION-POOL AND FACILITY FEES Moved by Councilmembee Pope,seconded by Cauacilmember Campbell to adopt Resolution No.5137 to increase pool and facility fees,and provide discounted tee benefits to Everett resdeate. Couocibaember Warnock questioned how many days a year the pool is rented out. Lori Clmntings,Parks,stated that they offer two to three rentals an evening on both Saturdays and Sundays,approximately 35 weekends per year. Counciimember Warnock question bow much the fee is being increased.Lori stated that it will increase from$55 to$75 per hour. Couacihoember Pope stated that this item came before the Budget and Fiance Committee with a recommendation for approval. Resolution No.5137 Ii as follows: WHEREAS,there is a need to increase existing pool and facility fees in order to offset increasing repair costs of the facilities;and WHEREAS,Were is a desire that the pool and facility fees be in-line with other area pools and facilities;and WHEREAS,there is a desire by the City to provide discounted fee benefits to Everett residents on some programs and services;and WHEREAS,the Everett Parks and Recreation Commission,at Weir regular seting of May 22,2001,approved a motion to increase the rates as reflected below: NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the City of Everett Forest Park Swim Center shall be as follows: 563
